Microsoft launched Dreamspark, an initiative to facilitate students with premium Microsoft Products like Visual Studio, Windows Server, Expression Studio. It's currently available to students of the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, Germany, France, Finland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Belgium. In the forthcoming months MS is planning to add more Asian and African countries. They have also promised to make it available to the whole world by 2009.
Now, for the first time, Microsoft is giving its valuable software developer and design tools directly to students worldwide at no charge! This site enables students like you to download professional-level Microsoft developer and design tools to unlock your creative potential and set you on the path to academic and career success, by supporting and advancing your learning and skills through technical design, technology, math, science and engineering activities.

To download the goodies, you need a Windows Live a/c. You will then be taken to the student verification page. Once you download the goodies you have to verify your studentship every 12 months. :o And what's more the products offered for download are not those buggy betas: they are all standard products. Do give 'em a try! ;)
