Seems like topping the lists has become an attitude for Ubuntu! After being the Distro of the year (for 2006)↗, Ubuntu has come first in Distrowatch's top 10 distros. Here↗ is the list. SuSE↗ has come 2nd, naturally. Declaring the list they said:

The bewildering choice and the ever increasing number of Linux distributions can be confusing for those who are new to Linux. This is why this page was created. It lists 10 Linux distributions (plus an honourable mention of FreeBSD, by far the most popular of all of the BSDs), which are generally considered as most widely-used by Linux users around the world.

But "plus an honourable mention of FreeBSD" at the end of the list puzzled me! I like the distro very much and I guess it should have climbed up 3 or 4 places.

Anyway, if you haven't grabbed the latest version (7.04), here it is!
